From the mountains to the sea to the tops of the tallest trees, Tom is everywhere. He helped to found the Big Plant at Virginia Tech, a monumental volunteer riparian planting event, # years ago and has continued to expand his impact since. With over a decade of experience with both private and public lands projects across Virginia, Tom has implemented a wide variety of riparian restoration solutions in many watersheds.

A lifelong lover of all things wild, Celia found her calling for restoration after working as a wildland firefighter across the Southeast US. She immediately took courses to become a Virginia Master Naturalist, and has since been working across the New River Valley and beyond to protect and restore watersheds.

With experience in entomology, fire ecology, forestry, leadership, and early childhood education, Sydney brings a multi-faceted to restoring the land and the water. As a conservation photographer, she has a special interest in Virginia’s At-Risk Species and understands the importance of sharing the world through the eyes of the wildlife we aim to protect.
